Description : A country music filled day

Listening to a country music station is equivalent to a roller coaster ride of emotions. The first song played could give the listener goosebumps from the loving words sang, while the second song could start a rage of fire when the lyrics sing about a love gone sour or a cheating spouse. For instance, one time I was strolling down a cobbled stone street in Paris enjoying the tunes that flowed from my I-Pod when a classic country song came on. Sorrow swelled in my heart as tears started to rush down my checks. The song was the same exact one played at my Granddaddy’s funeral. Then wind softly dried the tears while the birds chirped high in the trees and I suddenly felt happy again. I realized that even though my Granddaddy is no longer in this life but is in a better place. Also that I have a number of wonderful family members to share my life with.

Comparison: Country Music is a Journey =]

Have you ever experienced a day when one emotion lead to another emotion? Basically a roller coaster ride with its ups, downs and loop d’ loops. Well these same feelings can occur when a person turns to a country music station. The first song may be a fast, upbeat melody about a good time out on the river with friends and family; while the second song could be about a couple who just called it quits after eight long years of love and devotion. This all sums up to the main idea that country music is a journey. Each song takes the listener into another world where they can visualize the lyrics coming to life. The listener can go on a number of journeys through many songs about war, love, teenage fun or even family. I personally love the feeling I recieve when a country song decides to take me on an adventure through a love story or a party out in the boondocks. Overall country music will always tell a story, which will always take people on wonderful journeys.

Wishing for Germany

Over the summer I took a two week vacation to Europe, and although it was amazing, we were only in Germany for two days. Germany was the number one country I wanted to visit, and for $2,795 I only spent two days in my favorite place. I'm not going to lie, the trip over-all was awesome and I had a blast the whole time. I just wish more time was spend in Germany. Heck, I would have even loved to spend the whole two weeks exploring the different parts of Germany and the wonderful history that goes along. I just wish I could go back and time and demand that the tour company add more Germany days onto the schedule. Yet then again, that would not help any. They did what they wanted and I just paid my whole life's saving to go along with what they wanted and how they wanted it. I know that I could have paid even more and gone on my own, but then I would not have been able to share the experience with my fellow classmates, which made the whole only two days in Germany totally worth it. But just in that one way!

A Night of Terror

Image a night full of haunting and spooky scares complete with masks, chain saws, and people dressed like zombies. This is exactly the scence I witnessed while I walked the cobbled streets of Universal Studios in Orlando, FL. The lovely evening started when my sister, boyfriend, and best friend all met at my house to enjoy the ride to the park together. In the car we rocked out to a variety of songs from several different genres, which was our way to work the built up nerves away. By the time we arrived to the park our nerves were higher then ever. The first item of business for us was to go into as many haunted houses before the lines built up to an extremely long wait. We got through four houses, and then decided to make our way to a show called Bill and Ted. The show was the highlight of the night, and made everyone almost pee their pants from laughter. We finally left the park, and headed for home by 2:30 in the morning. Even though I jumped and screamed all night, I had a blast and will totally go again next year.

Cause and Effect

Many times a person has an awful day, full of horrible happenings. For instance, they could feel lonely or sad because they have had many misfortunes. The person could also be missing a dear friend or even a close loved one. This is always a number one cause for a person having an unpleasant day. A person could also have many stressful influences in their life that may cause them to just need a breather from everyone and the world. All of these influences can result into one main outcome; that person turning on the radio and listening to country music. Enjoying a wonderful country song could effect the person on many levels. It could simply make them let out a sigh of relief, or even a larger outcome like smiling or laughing. Another outcome country music has is it can clear a persons mind from thoughts and worries. The last outcome that always happens is that listening to country music can turn even the most terrible day into something special and fun.
